About
Welcome! I'm currently pursuing a double major in Media Arts and Design and Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Chicago, class of 2026. I've honed my skills in all steps of filmmaking with professional experience in live TV production, documentary filmmaking, and mixed media and manual animation.
I’m particularly captivated by live music performances and music videos. I have a deep appreciation for lighting design and camera work that enhances the emotional impact of a performance, helping to communicate the artist’s message in new and engaging ways. Whether it's through dynamic stage lighting or intricate camera movements, I believe in the power of visuals to connect with an audience on a deeper level.
Manual animation and experimental video are where I truly find my creative voice. I enjoy the tactile, hands-on process of bringing inanimate objects to life. I’m also excited by emerging technologies and am eager to blend them with more traditional stop-motion techniques. My interests include photogrammetric reconstruction, 360° video, and stereoscopic film—methods that challenge the conventional ways we experience media. In addition to animation, I also compose electronic music using SuperCollider, using it for the sound design of my videos or to create stand-alone music.
In a world where everyone is looking for ways to gain an audience, I find that expanded cinema-style projections offer a unique and compelling way to bring stories to life. I love experimenting with large-scale projections and installations that transform ordinary spaces into immersive, interactive environments.
I’m always looking for new opportunities to collaborate and explore creative projects, whether in front of the camera, behind the scenes, or working with cutting-edge technologies.
